Victor Oshimhen becomes Nigeria’s Highest Goal Scorer in a single tournament!

Victor Oshimhen scored his eight goal at the ongoing under 17 fifa world cup in Chile; becoming Nigeria’s highest goal scorer in a single tournament.         


The Nigerian number 9  scored his record goal in the 29th minute; in a quarterfinal match played against Brazil on the 1st of November, 2015.

He latched onto a cross from Lazarus to score Nigerias first in the game and his eight in the tournament beating the record previously held by Macauley Chrisantus.   

The record of the highest goal scored by a Nigerian was previously held by Macauley Chrisantus.

Chrisantus scored seven goals at the 2007 Fifa under-17 World cup.
