Opinion – Head to head: Did Asiwaju actually demanded 30Billion from Ambode?

THE REAL REASON AMBODE SECOND TERM IS BEING WORKED AGAINST
There is a news going around on why “Jagaban” Asiwaju Bola Hammeh Tinubu have decided alongside 57 Local Government Chairmen, as confirmed by Barr. Felix Osemwengie Isere to make Jide Sanyaolu Sanwoolu governor of Lagos State instead of the incumbent, Akinwunmi Ambode.

News have it that Tinubu demanded 30billion naira from Ambode as part of conditions for him to contest or rule Lagos the second time.
This is also strengthen by an APC member who I am keeping anonymous is this case as he finally pledge strong support to the Ambode led government and not godfather – Tinubu

If Ambode has failed to give the ” 30 BILLION NAIRA ” Asiwaju demanded as a condition for him to be allowed to contest for second term, he must have taken a wise decision for the continuity of Good Governance and the completion of on going massive  projects across the State, payments of new and robust minimum wage that is long overdue for Lagos State workers and improved condition of service may not be visible. Lagosians should rise up and mobilise support for our amiable and performing governor Ambode….## I STAND WITH AMBODE
How I wish lagosians can capitalize on this blunder from Asiwaju and take back our state from him ….

It must be recalled that Tinubu also played this “step-aside” game with former governor of Lagos State, now Minister of Power, Raji Fashola but he won the next election.
Going by records, one thing the former governor and the present governor have in common is “visible work”. There is no government without corruption but when the money is also serving the people then its a step to eradicating corruption, worst on “just chop”.

If this comes well, it means the era of godfatherism in Nigeria is gradually coming to an end as Tinubu is a major player in this.
Is this why he allegedly said he is richer than Osun state?
