So straight to point –
1.Three trailer loads of aliens headed to Ekiti intercepted in Lokoja.  Three trailer loads of  aliens from a neighboring country allegedly recruited to vote in the Ekiti governorship election are  travelling to Ekiti State have been intercepted in Lokoja, Kogi State by the Nigeria Immigration Service yesterday. The aliens confessed to have been mobilised for the exercise.
2. Presidency reacts to alleged court order asking National Assembly to begin process of impeaching Buhari. The minister of information and culture, Alhaji   Lai Mohammed, says Federal Government is not aware of any court judgement directing the National Assembly to commence impeachment process against President Muhammadu Buhari.
3. President Buhari insisted that his administration his winning the fight against corruption.  He said the recovered assets are being sold out so that they will not be returned to the looters or re-looted by others The president also disclosed that his administration would soon reorganize the judiciary to ensure effective fight against corruption.  He recalled that stolen assets seized from looters during his military regime were returned to them when he was ousted in 1983, The Nation reports.
4. A group in Lagos called on Igbos to rally support for Ambode and Buhari. The group urged Igbos to play politics with sense. It said the president has said he would support an Igbo presidency in 2023
A socio-political group, Igbo Vision in APC, says the only way forward for Igbos in Lagos state is to unite and support the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode in 2019.
5. Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal on Wednesday sacked all his commissioners and asked them to hand government property to the permanent secretaries in their respective ministries, in a move that foreshadows his planned move to switch to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Malam Abubakar Shekara, Director General Media and Public Affairs in Government House, announced the dissolution in a statement.   Shekara explained that the dissolution would pave way for “restructuring and re-strategising the cabinet for optimum efficiency and service delivery to the people of State”.
6. A female Corps member, Igwetu Linda Nkechi, bled to death in a hospital after she was shot by the police today in Abuja. According to a friend of hers who shared the story on Twitter, She passed a checkpoint but didn’t stop, one of the policemen opened fire on the car and the bullet hit Angela by her side. She was taken to the hospital and bleed to death because no police report.
According to reports available to Aiyekooto Reporters, Angela was meant to pass out on Friday, 5th July.
7. Professor Wole Soyinka was among the dignitaries who stormed Osborne Road in Ikoyi Lagos on Wednesday, 4th July, for the inauguration of the Alliance Francaise Complex, France Cultural center.
The Commissioning project is what brought Emmanuel Macron to Nigeria in the first place as it is expected to open a new door of opportunity for the Francophone country in the business hub of Nigeria.
8. Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex socio-political body of the Igbos, has said President Muhammadu Buhari should not ‘threaten or cajole’ the Igbo into voting for him in 2019 with talk of possible ‘Igbo Presidency’ in 2023. There are suggestions that Igbo will produce the country’s President in 2023 if they play a major role in Buhari’s re-election in 2019. This contradicts No.4

9. A former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, on Wednesday, 4th July, declared his ambition to run for the state’s governorship in 2019, thereby joining dozens of politicians jostling for the seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress. Alao-Akala was deputy governor to Rashidi Ladoja but replaced him in January 2016 when Ladoja was impeached until December 2016 when a court ruling declared the impeachment as illegal. The tenure was gone anyways.
10. President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, 4th July, said his administration was reorganising the judiciary as part of efforts to win the ongoing anti-corruption war. Buhari spoke at a joint press conference he had with visiting Namibian leader, Mr Hage Geingob, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President disclosed that as part of the reorganisation, some judges would be saddled with corruption cases. Buhari admitted that the anti-graft war had been very difficult under democracy. He said the challenges notwithstanding, he would not give up.
