Success means many positive and wonderful things and having the determination to be successful is very great. It makes you follow the path less travelled and it instills the passion to act where others give up.

As a person on the journey towards the road of success which is always under construction, you’ll need to get a map. You will need to know what to do and the road to take.
Think about it, if there were nothing like packaging or re-branding, is there really anything new under the sun? Then why do you have to re-invent the wheel when you can follow the path of other successful people and make it better?

This is where mentoring and modeling comes in. If you really want to be successful, you must meet with certain individuals because who you keep company with determines what accompanies you.
Success is not fully a one man’s journey. If it were, successful people will never acknowledge anyone in their journey. No matter how well intentioned your desire is towards success, until you stand on the shoulders of some giants, you may seldom rise above average.
Maybe the reason you didn’t achieve as you should this year is that you wanted to do it all alone, forgetting that dream + a theme + a team = success.
Like the scriptural injunction that says “Be followers of them who through faith and patience inherited the promise”, the humble act of modelling successful people can lead to excellence.
Since individuals have all the resources they need to achieve excellence, by following the clues successful people have left, one can achieve distinction in every area. These clues are found in their books and audio programmes. Do yourself a favour by getting them. Get a personal coach too or at least a mentor.

In the spirit of NLP, we say modeling successful people leads to excellence.

Remember, you’ll be the same person in five years except for two things: the books you read and the people you meet.
Think about it.
