Ghana: 2018 Dashiki Walk with MJ the Comedian Slated for June 30

Award-winning Ghanaian comedian, MJ the Comedian is set to host the 4th edition of his annual signature event, the Dashiki Walk on June 30th, 2018.

Known to be one of the biggest carnival in Ghana, MJ the Comedian has for the past years created the avenue for dashiki lovers across Ghana to converge and have fun through this event.

With the rampant abuse of illicit drugs among youths albeit the massive campaign against it, MJ the Comedian and event managers, Romanus Empire have also dedicated this year’s activities to be coupled with a strong campaign among participants against the abuse of drugs.

The walk which will commence from the Accra International Trade Fair Center at 6:30 am is expected to proceed through the Oxford Street in Osu and back to the township of LA in Accra where all activities will be climaxed with a concert and other fun activities.

This year’s concert will enjoy performances from famous superstars including Rozo, Wisa Gried, Apaatse, Gage, Rapper one, Sketil, Clerical, Mens D, Vox Veezy, Kofi Metta, Kueiqu Afro, Cj Biggerman and many more.

In 2017, MJ the Comedian received the Emerging Person [Comedian] of the Year award from readers of leading comedy portal, Nogokpo.com. He is also the brain behind Ghana’s famous skit series, “Lagadat”
