It has become crystal clear that the era of impunity and imposition in PDP has tripled despite all the assurances given to Nigerians by the current leadership and occupants of Wadata House.
The scientific rigging that ushered in the Uche Secondus led NWC of the People’s Democratic Party that was carpeted immediately after the December 2017 convention just to allow the sleeping dog lie, is turning around to hunt the Party once again.
The biggest revelation making rounds in the whole country today, is exposing the recklessness of the level of impunity going on in PDP. It has been exposed by no less a person than the former Deputy Speaker of the HOR, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha that no one in PDP can secure PDP ticket to run for the HOR, Senate, Governor and even to contest for the presidency without passing thru him, Wike and Uche Secondus.
Ihedioha declared in a rally recently at Okigwe South that his name has already been approved and awaiting to be forwarded to INEC as PDP governorship candidate Imo state. He added that without him, SECONDUS wouldn’t have emerged as the National Chairman of the Party.
Ihedioha confided in a close friend that the real leader of PDP is Gov.Neysom Wike and that he can confirm to him that Wike has endorsed Aminu Tambuwal as PDP consensus candidate for presidency. Ihedioha voiced that everything under the power of this earth will be deployed to transmit PDP ticket to Aminu Tambuwal. He boasted that he is the man on top of this high level power conspiracy.
And to drive the project home, we have concluded plans to arm twist all the other governors who may be thinking otherwise, by bringing the Convention to Port Harcourt, Ihedioha added.
The choice of hosting the Convention in Port Harcourt is to have a firm grip of the entire exercise. We will deploy our local content advantage to favour Tambuwal and we will do it with minimum risk and less casualties, Ihedioha added.
The former No. 6 man in the country, further confided in his friend that Wike has budgeted whooping and heart bugging amount running into tens of billions to bribe his colleagues and other delegates.
From the foregoing, it has become increasingly clear that PDP is heading to the rocks, positioning itself to crash beyond recognition and repairs.
Ihedioha has been boasting that, part of his understanding with Prince Secondus and Gov. Wike was to cede Imo PDP ticket to him thru a kangaroo primary. He declared that, the deal is signed, sealed and delivered.
But unfortunately, Ihedioha did not carry PDP Imo state chapter along with him when he sealed this agreement with Secondus and Wike.
The party at all levels in Imo has made it clear that they will not tolerate anymore act of impunity and imposition which has parked Imo PDP at the opposition corner since 2011.
It may be recalled however, that this same Ihedioha connived with Aminu Tambuwal and wrecked the progressing zoning formula in sharing political offices in PDP which eventually led to the massive defection of prominent PDP members out of the party.
Many governors including noted figures in PDP joined the concocted scourge called apc that is currently ravaging our country today.
These same cabal has regrouped, now deadlier than ever with men of impunity and unmatched record of brigandage and arson as their members.
The first litmus test of these men of riot could be traced to their handling of the last convention where they used both money, scientific and well researched and advanced rigging skills to rubbish the entire SOUTH WEST and even the NORTH.
They are at it again.
Ihedioha is busy here in Imo spreading the gospel of how he has become the brain box and thinking cap of the emerging cabal.
He boasted yesterday in a function that Uche Secondus cannot take any major decision in the Party without him. He hinted, that even if such decision was taken in his absence, that he has the capacity to force the National Chairman to review his stance and act according to his dictates. This is so disturbing, in a party many believed to have learnt her lessons.
Ihedioha assured his scanty crowed of supporters at his home town Mbutu recently, that PDP ticket has already been given to him.
But here is the shocker for Ihedioha; the leadership of PDP Imo state has reiterated repeatedly that the issue at stake is not just to give someone ticket, but to nominate someone with high popularity base capable of winning the general election for the party.
The State Chairman of the party, Barr. Charles Ezekwem has assured and maintained that under his watch, Imo PDP will not have a gubernatorial candidate thrown up by a fraudulent exercise. The gubernatorial primary will be free, fair and transparent and must be conducted with the authentic delegate list, the Chairman added.
