As the sky of Tokyo shimmered colourfully to the fireworks of the Olympics opening ceremony, athletes are pumped to make their nations proud once the wheel of events rolls their ways.
Among these international contingents include a fast, strong and agile team of Nigerians who will set the track and field events alight with their talents.
Following the unfortunate disqualification of the women’s 4x400m relay team, Nigeria will be represented by 19 athletes at the Olympics.
