2023: Atiku-Okowa will end APC poverty, reset Nigeria – Oborevwori

Poverty and hunger, joblessness and insecurity, as well as mismanagement of the nation’s resources are among the multifaceted problems currently bedeviling Nigeria, and remained prime focus in this electioneering campaign era, and in the ongoing Ward to Ward camapigns in Delta State.

In the present unfortunate circumstances of Nigeria’s near insolvency under President Mohmmadu Buhari, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, has again stressed the need for all eligible voters in the State and by extension all Nigerians, to treat the ruling party at the federal level, the All Progressives Congress, APC, as their common enemy. Oborevwori

He made the call on Thursday in Uvwie Local Government Area while addressing a mammoth crowd of party members and PDP supporters in Ward 8, 9, 6 and 5, in continuation of his Ward to Ward campaign in Delta Central Senatorial District.

It is common knowledge that APC bad governance brought about regular increase in pump price of fuel now at N250 per litre as against N85 in 2015, electricity tarriff up with over 300 percent while a loaf of bread once regarded as the food of the common man now cost as much as N1,5000 from N120 in 2015.

The Delta PDP Governorship candidate and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, urged all eligible voters in Uvwie LGA, across the state and all over the country, to do the needful by voting APC out of power in 2023, over what he described as gross incompetence, cluelessness and bad governance at the federal level since 2015 and counting.

“APC has ruined Nigeria and we cannot fold our hands and watch them. This is our country and we must do the needful to rescue Nigeria from the bad governance of the APC. We now have the opportunity to do so in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

“There is unprecedented hunger in the country, our people are frustrated because there is no hope for our youth, women and this cannot continue. APC poverty party must be voted out of power in 2023 to enable PDP reset Nigeria, and restore her pride of place in the world.

“PDP presidential candidate and former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, are prepared and ready to revamp and to rebuild Nigeria’s economy; restore peace and security, and to also bring about economic prosperity for all Nigerians.

“The GSM phone we are enjoying today in business and in social communication with our friends, associates and loved ones was made possible by PDP government during President Olusegun Obasanjo and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s administration.

“APC did nothing for Nigerians other than inflation, poverty, hunger, price hike in fuel, electricity and poor management of insecurity. There are so many reasons why you must vote out out APC in 2023.

“In Uvwie Local Governments Area, you are to Vote Atiku-Okowa for President, Sheriff-Onyeme for Governor, Chief Ighoyota Amori for Senate, Hon Barr Evelyn Oboro for House of Representatives and Hon Chief Solomon Ighrakpata for House of Assembly. These are candidates of our great party, PDP.

“Let me make it abundantly clear again and again, that Okpe people of Urhobo nation in Delta Central Senatorial District are satisfied with the governorship slot given to us. We are not interested in producing a Senator in 2023.

“We shall all vote for Chief Ighoyota Amori to represent the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District at the Red chambers. Amori will be our next Senator in 2023, by the grace of God, not an Okpe son. Therefore, vote Amori of PDP for Senate in Delta Central Senatorial District.

“My M.O.R.E agenda will be to advance Delta State beyond 2023 by building on the enviable achievements and legacies of our amiable governor and leader, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, who shall be sworn in as Vice President of Nigeria in 2023, by the grace of God.

“I promise to operate a responsible and responsible government that will enhance economic growth, infrastructure development and social harmony. I will listen more, do more and achieve more for Delta State and for all Deltans Oborevwori assured
