A former member of Stella Oduah Campaign Organisation during the 2019 general election, Sopuru Oyenze has described as a total failure performance of the Senator representing Anambra North, Stella Oduah.
Featuring on a Radio Programme in Awka on Wednesday, Sopuru who is from the same local government area with the Senator, however endorsed politician and former Governorship candidate, Hon. Tony Nwoye to pick the Anambra North senatorial ticket of the LABOUR PARTY (LP) for the 2023 general election due to his great ideas of changing the narrative of the area for good.
The human rights lawyer said Senator Oduah has no single empowerment project for the people since she was given the mandate 8years ago and has disconnected totally from the people who gave her the mandate.
He challenged the Senator to mention any physical project she has completed since she became a senator noting that the district has been visited by insecurity, bad road network and lost of many lives.
The lawyer also stated that Senator Oduah failed to secure employment opportunities in federal ministries, Parastatals and agencies for the unemployed youths as evident in other Senatorial districts.
He said the people are particularly angry with Senator Oduah for taking the appointments which would have been of benefit to them to Ogbaru and Delta state.
According to him, If given the opportunity to serve as a Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria Tony Nwoye will make the much awaited difference and the people will enjoy the dividends of democracy.
“Tony is well received in Anambra North. He is the candidate to beat. Everyone is rooting for him because we believe he will perform.
“People are angry due to non performance of senator Stella. It’s time to change the narration. When Senator Stella came, we all taught she’s the Messiah, but she has failed. The lawyer concluded.
