There seems to be a change in the direction of Nigerian youths towards a much younger presidential candidate – Professor Christopher Imumolen of the Accord Party.
Professor Chris Imumolen who gained massive recognition for his speech at the ICAN convention, and got celebrated loudly after declaring his achievement said, “At 39, I represent the voice of the youths, I am the first African to have founded three universities on three distinct continents”.
This statement generated a lot of conversations on social media as this new revelation proved the youths had a better option.
Two hashtags #SwitchToProfChris and #NaProfChrisLasLas took over the media space as young Nigerians discuss exploring the options of this young credible candidate.
The Technical Advisor at Oil and Gas Monitoring and Evaluation Akwa in August vowed to fix Nigeria’s education sector in six months if elected as president come February 2023.
He said, “As president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I will ensure that lecturers will be paid as at when due; that the academic environment will be conducive for all students, and they will have cross cultural alignments with foreign students as whites and learners from various climes will find the Nigerian education sector so appealing”, Imumolen promised.
