Abba Kyari: Security Beefed Up At NDLEA HQ Over Fear Of Attack

Abba Kyari overturns NDLEA's narrative on Drug Peddling

According to reports, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has increased security at its headquarters in Gambia, Area11, Garki, Abuja.

The agency reportedly increased security due to worries that the suspended chief of the Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari, and some of his men in detention may be released.

Abba Kyari has been in the anti-narcotics agency’s custody since Monday for reportedly dealing in cocaine trafficking.

According to reports, top NDLEA officials are attempting to avoid any unfavorable outcomes.

Visitors have been barred from the agency’s premises since 3.30 p.m. yesterday, according to the report.

According to reports, this was done on the orders of the agency’s commander, Brigadier General Buba Marwa (rtd).

According to a source, the NDLEA intends to push the matter to its natural conclusion, especially because some have accused the agency of just carrying out an agenda to discredit the police by bringing solely its personnel implicated in the drug sale to trial.

“They are well aware that it is untrue. Our boss has recently begun a purification process, cleaning the agency from top to bottom.

“That is precisely what happened, leading to the discovery of Abba Kyari’s shady agreement.

“If it hadn’t been for this, the deal would have been thrown under the rug, and the suspects would have gone their separate ways. So this time, we’re not going to let anyone ruin our hard-won reputation,” the person stated.
