A Nigerian lady identified as Ebere Asonibe is a herbalist who is into the profession due to the circumstances beyond her.

According to her, she became a native doctor because that was the path her ancestors wanted her to tread on.

She said her life became miserable when she refused to continue with her great-grandmother’s profession. She sought deliverance but all to no avail and she resorted to stepping into her great-grandmother’s shoes as a young lady.

Ebere Asonibe is a graduate who chose to become a native doctor due to circumstance beyond her she said. she said her dead ancestors were making life miserable for her because she was adamant on not continuing with her great-grandmother’s profession as a herbalist.

Ebere Asonibe reportedly graduated with second-class honours but shunned white-collar jobs to settle as a native doctor.

Ms Asonibe’s education has also helped her take her herbalist business digital. She runs an active Facebook page called Ebere Herbals where she advertises her herbal cures and also consults with her patients.

Ebere Asonibe said she attended several interviews after graduating from school but turned down all the offers she got. The graduate said she couldn’t take up any office job because her dead ancestors were disturbing her to take over the herbalist profession of her great grandmother.

Through her facebook page, Ebere Herbals Source, she said her ancestor will come to her in a vision and show her herbs and where to locate them, and when she goes into the bush in the morning she will see the exact herbs.

She added that “different men of God tried to deliver me but all to no avail.”

She said she decided to do what her ancestor wanted when she could not win the battle. She is now a known herbalist who uses herbs to treat different diseases.

Ebere said she eventually decided to take up the native doctor role after her dead ancestors kept making life unbearable for her.
