Vision
YPAD is committed to working on Nigerian youths to develop thoughts and contribute to the development of political leadership, peace and prosperity of the nation through  ideas and projects in collaboration with government agencies , non governmental organisations locally and internationally  to deliver the voices of the Nigerian youths with aim of promoting their political participation.


Mission
Empowering and engaging young people in sustainable development,empowering civic engagement toward a culture of peace , democracy and development of the cultural values of the Nigeria.
Objectives
a) To ensure active engagement of the Nigerian youths in peacebuilding actions and activities.
b)To build a youth political organization that brings together diverse religious and traditional actors to collaborate on research, advocacy and skill and capacity building.
c) To create a nation where young people have the opportunity and skills to contribute to political development of the nation.


e) We work to strengthen youth-led political system in Nigeria.
d) To develop the organizational capacities of our members and to bring the voices of young people to policy makers on a national and global level.
e) To be a national platform which mainstreams young people into the work of building a prosperous Nigeria at all levels; supporting and advocating for an enabling environment that facilitates the active participation and influence of young people in decision-making processes, and the consideration of youth-specific needs in all policy areas;
f) To promote mutual collaboration among young people in Nigeria, and working in partnership with national and non-national actors in order to empower the young people of Nigeria, without distinction of ethnic origin, gender,  disability, special needs, socio-economic status, marital status, language, religious belief or political opinion;


g) To be a centre for information on youth work and development, and accordingly collect, monitor, analyse and disseminate information including the exchange of experiences and best practices in youth-led development; and to provide a website, online resources and to create project plans and campaigns so that young people can be integral in the achievement of the Nigerian youth development agenda and sustainable development;
h) To monitor, participate and report political activities in Nigeria so as to enlighten, educate the youths and uphold their right to know
