BEING THE ADDRESS OF COMRADE AJAGUN OPEYEMI, NATIONAL PRESIDENT, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF OKUN STUDENTS OVER THE UNFORTUNATE POLITICALLY SPONSORED ILLEGAL EXCO
This public announcement became necessary and very important in view of the malicious propaganda and unfortunate attempts to destroy and manipulate the struggles and efforts of our forefathers over the Association.

While it has become a public knowledge that some group of fellows who lost out in the first and second legally and legitimately conducted national convention of the Union have been illegally coronated in a politically sponsored illegality.
The legally and constitutionally elected National Executives under my humble and privileged leadership however will not go into the behind the scene politics that played out and video documentary evidence of the statements and actions of everyone including the politically exposed persons who got involved.
We like to consequently alert the general public, okun stalwarts, respected elders of Okunland and friends alike not to do any official activities or engagement relating to Okun Students with or in the name of the following under the National Association of Okun Students: Abraham Damilare and Mr Juwon Moses as President and Senate President respectfully. I authoritatively sat that they are both, impostors and impersonators as they pocess no iota of legitimacy to do so.
I derive my authority to make this statements even under Oath before a court of competent jurisdiction from the relevant sections of our constitution.
I hereby reiterate unequivocally and emphatically for the avoidance of doubt or ambiguity that I was duly elected as President of the Association under the constitutionally recognised Electoral Committee set up by a truly constituted congress.

Unfortunately the immediate past President under the control of certain forces outside the Students movement illegally and criminally announced another name bearing same people for same positions except that of President and Senate President from our legally constituted National Convenient supervised by the constitutionally recognised Electoral Committee .
It will be recalled that the kangaroo parallel excos were coronated by the immediate past President against the provision of a legal electoral Committee to elect them into office.
After a protracted but deliberately orchestrated crisis that engulfed the Union, officials of State government from Okunland namely Prince Mathew Kolawole, Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Cmdr Jerry Omodara, Security Adviser to the Governor, Hon Asiru Idris, Commissioner of Finance, Hon Taufiq Isah, AlGON Chairman and Hon M.D. Eseyin, SA to the Governor on Students and Youth invited our group and the illegal excos to a meeting and they resolved to cancel the first election that brought parallel excos and all the stakeholders including aspirants agreed to the decision and another electoral Committee was constituted under the supervision of the aforementioned government officials. The committee was given two weeks to conduct another election.
Fortnight to the date of the new election, the same set of government officials invited us to another meeting where certain persons were prevailed to step down and right there Mr Damilare Jacob who parades himself as the President stepped down for me to allow the Speaker produce his brother as the Senate President and the Speaker KGHA Prince Kolawole compensated him with #100,000 and a new motorcycle which he accepted to the offer.
On the day of the election, he didn’t participate in the election process as I was elected and returned unopposed for the second time and there was no cry.
I like to say it unambiguously that the fight for the seat of Senate President is what led to some politically exposed persons to encourage the already dead agitation of Mr Damilare jacob hence they stage-managed a criminally conducted inauguration.
I like to state to the entire members of the great NAOS that the mandate you freely gave to us will never be stolen, dragged or hijacked. We are ready to pursue our agenda and defend external aggression through every known and legal process.
I therefore wish to assure you that although waters of political interference seems to be overwhelming, we assure you that we shall overcome. Despite the fiercest and most traumatizing moment, we shall sing song of victory at last.
Let us join hands together fellow Comrades to fight a course for the soul of our greatest Union.
