Popular politician, under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Jimi Agbaje joins Lagos Governorship race after 3years of silence, on Wednesday, 19th September, 2018.
In a telephone interview conducted by NAN, Jimi Agbaje confirms his intention to re-run as governor of Lagos state, saying its on popular demand.
“It is true that initially I did not want to re-contest, but I had so many people urging me to run.

This mean he will be contesting for the PDP primaries slated Friday, 28th September.
“I bought and submitted my nomination form shortly before it closed. I will be part of the PDP Lagos governorship primaries, billed for Friday, September 28th, “ he said.
Agbaje strongly believes he would would become the Governor of Lagos state if his party gives chance.
In the same vein, Nigerians have taken to social expressing their views about Agbaje’s sudden appearance.
