Akeredolu Snubs Abegunde, makes Two Fresh Appointments

Following the resignation on SSG Ifedayo Abegunde, the governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has approved the appointment of two persons as his Special Assistants.

 

Gov. Akeredolu, in a press statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Segun Ajiboye said the appointment was made to strengthen his administration for optimum performance.


The fresh appointees are:
1. Mr Oluwole Babalola Moneyin- Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties.

2. Mrs. Charity Gbebomini Titi – Special Assistant to the Governor on Women Mobilisation.

Its a “soldier go, soldier take over situation.”


Abegunde resigned on Monday, saying he resigned his position for “personal reasons”.

 

The Governor however wishes the new appointees the best of luck in their new positions.
