The past few weeks has been extremely traumatizing for Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo after she was arrested and sentenced to 90 days imprisonment for indecent exposure of her 8-year old son.
A lot of people wondered where Akuapem Poloo’s baby daddy was when she was facing all the challenges with the trial and sentence.
Well, after her bail of 80k was paid by some benovolent people, Akuapem Poloo is finally home with her son while her lawyer works on an appeal to either reduce her sentence or completely avoid going to jail.
Akuapem Poloo’s baby daddy has finally resurfaced he has explained his side of the story.
Speaking to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM, Rashid Yakubu stated that when he was dating Akuapem Poloo and found out that she was pregnant, he wanted to marry her so he went to her family for the Marriage list.
Unfortunately for him, the items on the Marriage list were more than what he could afford and hence he was forced to stay away. He also accused Akuapem Poloo of keeping him in the dark away from their son and preventing him from meeting him.
When asked if he used to meet his son while his baby mama was facing trial, Rashid said he used to visit the boy twice in a week and sometimes once in two weeks depending on his work schedule.
