Akwa Ibom: Mrs MefLyn Anwana visits Codekago Interactive

The Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Entrepreneurial Development, Mrs MefLyn Anwana paid a work visit to Codekago Interactive a tech company in Akwa Ibom State to interact with creative young interns who just concluded 5 -months internship to gain on the job experience in various digital skills ranging from Web development, graphic designing, digital marketing, and UI/UX.

The Akwa Ibom young creatives were drilled throughout the programme to provide solutions to innovation, branding and web development while building world-class products.

Meflyn Anwana commended the Co-founders of Codekago, Mr. Uduak Umoatan, and Mr. Samuel Ogu, for their contributions to the state as young entrepreneurs and harped on the importance of engaging interns on mentorship and how internship enables aspiring intrapreneurs to gain valuable experience
which ensures that more young people have hands-on experiences before starting their own business.

Mrs. Anwana spoke with the interns briefly saying that internship is a valuable opportunity and route into self development and acquiring necessary skills needed in an evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem.

She commended Governor Udom Emmanuel’s Dakkada Philosophy that has ignited the enterprise spirit of the AkwaIbom Youth to achieve their full potentials while encouraging them to stay focused on all they have been taught in order to provide solutions to problems in their field.

 

In their response, the interns thanked Mrs. Anwana for the token provided to support their creative needs and encouraged other interns to connect.
