The All Progressives Congress (APC) local government chairmen’s forum in Zamfara State, on Tuesday, 15th October, Alhaji Aminu Gama Giwa, as its chairman.

Announcing the decision shortly after their meeting, the APC chairman in Gusau local government, Alhaji Abubakar Tijjani Dan Ayya, said the party’s local government chairmen from all the 14 LGAs met and resolved to remove the forum’s chairman who also doubled as the party’s chairman in Maradun LGA.

“We the 13 local government chairmen of the All Progressives Congress in Zamfara State have resolved to remove Aminu Gama Giwa as the leader of our great forum and decided to replace him with Alhaji Tafa Muhammad Nasarawa the party’s chairman in Bukuyum Local Government Area,” he said.

Alhaji Dan Ayya said the decision was a result of Gama Giwa’s failure to lead the forum effectively and to strengthen the party in his local government and the state in general.
