A 29-year-old Amina Longoh has become Chad’s new Minister of Women’s Affairs and Child Protection.

Amina Priscille Longoh, 29, is appointed Minister of Women and Early Childhood Care in Chad following a recent reshuffle which took place Tuesday, July 14.

”This distinction I owe you, you show so much support and love! Let’s continue to pool our energies to make our tricolor speak positively ,“ she posed on her Facebook page a few hours after learning the good news.

Before her appointment as minister, the Chadian Amina Priscille Longoh had won the prize for the best African network marketing manager 2020.

She, who is also the president of the Chad Helping Hands foundation, will receive her prize in October in Kigali, in the Rwandan capital.

On July 14th, the Maréchal of Chad, Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Republic, Head of State, redesigned his government and I was entrusted with the Ministry of Women and Early Childhood Protection. I express my deep gratitude to him for the trust placed in my humble person.

 

I measure responsibilities and expectations.

Beyond the causes I will defend, that of women and children, it is Chadian youth that I represent, so the challenges are enormous. And I plan to lift them up with all the humility, dynamism and creativity it takes.

 

Many of you have congratulated me and I have tried to respond to more, but if you haven’t had a return, rest assured, it’s not for lack of respect.

 

The noblest causes have always been my passion and I’m counting on you to help me make things move more.

Ms. Amina Priscille Longoh was appointed Director General of the National House of Women, a structure under the supervision of the Ministry of Women, Early Childhood Protection and National Solidarity under the Chadian decree n ° 1121 / PR / MFPPESN / 2019, signed by the Head of State, Idriss Déby Itno.

The young Amina Priscille Longoh is known for her charitable works for vulnerable groups. It is through the Tchad Helpings Hands foundation of which she is the president. She is also the Education Commissioner for the Pan African Youth Union.
