The People’s Democratic Party’s leadership of both the local government and the 19 wards in Orumba North LGA of Anambra State, has declared their unflinching support for the governorship ambition of their son, Chief Dr. Godwin Maduka (Okosisi Orumba).
In an extended meeting hosted by Nzukora Orumba at Ndikelionwu town hall yesterday, the speakers extolled the virtues of Okosisi Orumba that makes him stand out amongst other aspirants.
Chief Hon. Ernest Okafor, Hon. Sopulu Nwafor, Sir. Ken Ejeckam, Hon. Uche Ogbonna and Dr. Mrs Kate Obioji all addressed the Delegates emphasising why the people of Orumba should continue to support Dr. Godwin Maduka. They however assured Ndi Orumba North that Okosisi Orumba does not only have an excellent blueprint of what he is coming to do, but, will primarily put the core aspirations of Ndi Anambra first.
Responding to their host, the Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, PDP Orumba North local Government Area, Barr. Uchenna Obiora, on behalf of the delegation described Dr. Godwin Maduka as the best thing that could happen to Anambra State and pledged to support this aspiration.
Ward executives of Awa, Awgbu, Oko, Ajali, Amaokpala, Ndikelionwu and Ndiokpalaeke were among the 16 communities (19 wards including LG Excos) present at the event.
