Anambra People appreciate supporters of Obiano

 

Anambra People in Aguleri community has demonstrated to the whole world that they are not ingrate.

 

They have proved beyond every reasonable doubt that they (Anambra People)  appreciate those that are genuinely supporting their Son the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Dr Willie Obiano to complete his missionary work in Anambra State.

It’s a well known fact that Prof Soludo is among those that supported the Governor in the morning, in the afternoon and at night.

 

We all know the dubious character of politicians, they will come to you in the day time to assure you of their support and go to your enemy house late in the night to plot your downfall.

Prof Soludo is not among this class of deceitful and evil minded politicians.

 

He is somebody you can be sure of especially when he promises you his support.

 

The most important attributes of Prof Soludo is that he is not desperate.

I refer to him as a patient dog because I know most of our politicians as those whose sense of reasoning has been beclouded with the idiotic it must be me at all cost mentality.

 

Those that has this foolish mentality always resort to the option of rocking the boat when they see that things are not going as they planned.

 

I must confess that our politicians really need to learn a lot from Soludo because he is a man that knows how to get his priority right.

 

Misplaced priority and greed is the bane of our politicians.

Another important thing in life is loyalty and the type of loyalty that am talking of is 100percent loyalty and not 99percent loyalty.

 

Prof Soludo was 100percent loyal to APGA and the fruit of his loyalty to the party is what he is reaping today from party members.

 

Something striking happened today and before I say it , I want to state it clearly that Governor Obiano was not at today function for some political idiots that will want to misinterpret what am about to say.

 

As Prof Soludo stepped out to be honoured today at Amaigwe Aguleri, the shout of our next Governor rented the air and when people were shouting it the thing that came across my mind is a patient dog that eats the fattest bone.

It’s on record that Prof Soludo has not declared his interest to run for Governor but the hand writing on the wall is obviously showing that ndi Anambra  People are determined to drag him into the 2021 governorship election race.

 

What the people are doing is for Governor Obiano and other leaders of APGA to know that Prof Soludo is their consensus choice.

 

APGA is a people oriented party that will always do what the party faithfuls and Ndi Anambra want.

 

If tomorrow Governor Obiano support Prof Soludo, it is now evidently clear that he is following the consensus choice of ndi Anambra and the same thing is applicable to Chief Victor Oye, the indefatigable national Chairman of APGA.

If I refer to Prof Soludo as a patient dog that is destined to eat the fattest bone am right because not everybody can keep his vision and mission for his State alive from 2010 till date.

 

Anyway, it is said that God’s time is the best and obviously the time of God for Prof Soludo to be rewarded has come and no human born of a woman can stop this divine reward from coming into manifestation.

 

By the time Governor Obiano completes his tenure and you add Mr Peter Obi 2nd term 4 years to Governor Obiano 8 years, you will see that Prof Soludo kept his vision and mission for ndi Anambra alive for complete 12years.

 

How many people can be that patient, very few and that is why I said that Soludo kind are scarce in our society.

What is written is written and the lesson to learn from all I said in this piece is that it is good to wear patience and faith in God as a garment.

 

People are all over the places making noise about their ambition to govern Anambra State and Prof Soludo that is not making noise is being wooed on daily basis to contest the election, clear sign of God at work.

 

Now, the question to ask is why are the masses wooing Prof Soludo to run for Governor, they are doing it because they know that he has something to offer.

 

They know that he is the only man that can consolidate Governor Obiano’s achievements in Anambra State.

 

One major selling point of Prof Soludo is that he has a track record of justifying the confidence reposed on him.

You know a man that is doing well from the testimony of his boss about him.

 

We all know that Prof Soludo served as CBN Governor under President Olusegun Obasanjo, he also served briefly as CBN Governor under President Yar ‘adua of blessed memory.

 

I will not end this piece without refreshing your mind with what the 2 former President of Nigeria said about Prof Soludo.

 

President Olusegun Obasanjo said this about him ” Charles Chukwuma Soludo is a true Nigerian. He is the sort of Nigerian that we all know we can rely on. Among his numerous virtues is courage. I have found in him a man who can take tough and realistic decisions, stand his ground, educate others on the salience of his decision and work very hard to ensure that the decision is efficiently and effectively implemented.

His dedication to duty is first rate. His leadership qualities are admirable and his willingness to listen and learn is simply infectious.

 

Professor Soludo has within a short time emerged as one of the leading lights of our nation.

 

Not because he has a godfather but by sheer hardwork, loyalty, dedication to duty, commitment to the nation, creativity and undiluted association with the reform agenda “President Olusegun Obasanjo in December 2004.

 

President Yar adua opinion about Soludo management of CBN

” The CBN has performed creditably well in delivering on its core mandate. This is especially even more so in the last five years.

Most people would agree that without the successful banking consolidation and effective management of our foreign reserves, the current global crisis would have shaken the financial system and our national economy to their foundation with calamitous consequences “. President Yar adua (May 2009).

” As your tenure as Governor of the Central bank of Nigeria comes to a glorious end, I write onbehalf of the government and people of Nigeria to place on record our debt of gratitude to you for your dedicated service and uncommon sense of duty over the past Five years. I am confident that your worthy antecedents in the CBN and in prior appointment in the service of our nation remain sources of inspiration to an entire generation. As I wish you even more astounding successes in the years ahead, it is my fervent hope that you will avail us of your distinguished service When the need arises in the future (June 01 , 2009).

 

Obasanjo and Yar adua gave a proper description of Prof Soludo.
