The local Government Facilitators and Ward executives while expressing their willingness to work for the victory of Dr. Godwin Maduka in the primary election on 6th June, also vowed to throw their weights behind Okosisi at the governorship election.

In his response at Anambra East, the leader of ASAG, Hon Sopuru Nwafor told PDP faithful that the choice of Doctor Maduka is not misplaced because he has demonstrated by his actions what he will do when elected as governor.

He noted just like other team leaders in their various centres that PDP after sixteen years in political wilderness in Anambra State stands a better chance of winning the governorship election with Dr. Godwin Maduka as the flagbearer.

The team leaders in their separate submissions asked the Facilitators and Ward executives not to mortgage their consciences because of money.

They urged the Facilitators and Ward Executives to remain committed to the goal of ensuring that all statutory delegates from their respective wards give their full support to Doctor Maduka who stands the greater chance of winning the election more than other aspirants under the platform of PDP.

Hon Ernest Okafor, Chief Sunday Ogboo, Sir Ken Ejekam, Reverend Charles Okereke and Dr. Mrs Kate Obiorji were in the team that visited Ogbaru, Onitsha North and Onitsha South.
