THE 7th October 2022 will remain a day to remember for Singer and song writer Anijamz. The Afropop singer, songwriter, composer and performer Aniebiet Double popularly known as Anijamz on this day bagged an award as the most Promising Artist of the Year 2022 at the just concluded Calabar Entertainment Conference (CEC) 2022.

The Calabar Entertainment Conference, CEC, was organized by Calabar’s top radio station, Hit 95.9 FM.

This year’s edition of the conference featured prominent media personalities within and outside the country such as the Convener and Chairman, NEC Live, Ayeni Adekunle as Special Guest, Entertainment Journalist, Joey Akan; Brand Strategist, Dr Tochukwu Macfoy; Veteran Broadcaster, Ryan Verneuille (USA).

The event’s panel session also featured Actor, Efa Iwara; General Manager, Boomplay, Dele Kadiri, Social Media Influencer, Calabar Chic, Popular Tik-Tok Influencer, Celyn Ukam and Comedian, Last Prophet.

The event which was held at Cultural Centre, Calabar, Cross River State had lots of stage performances and had music lovers drawn within and outside the city.

Earlier this year, after the release of his first single in 2022 “Bendi” which got massive reception and airplays across various radio stations and charts across Nigeria, the singer took to his socials announcing his first ever body of work (EP-Extended Play) “GROWTH AND SUCCESS” which will be out later in the year.

It can be recalled that few weeks ago Anijam took to his social media handle as he unveiled the official artwork to “GROWTH AND SUCCESS”

While receiving the award, the singer re-affirmed that the body of work is ready and will be out on the 21st October 2022, while the listening party is scheduled for 20th October, 2022.

He also added that his fans, followers and community should continue showing their support by streaming, downloading and sharing the project when the EP is finally out.

He also promised that no song in the project is a bad song.
