The All progressive Congress (APC) Aspirants forum has publicly endorsed Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari for post of National Chairman of the party.

According to the forum, as they also prepare for their annual national convention, Alahji Yari is their desired candidate for the post of national chairman of the party.

The APC Aspirants forum national coordinator, Bashir Muhammed Yusif in a statement on Tuesday said the former governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari is the most qualified candidate to succeed comrade Adams Oshimhole as the national chairman so that the party may be driven back to a better chance and take back its winning position.

Bashir described the outstanding personality of Yari stating that he is a highly detribalized person, well known in the political circle.

“During his governorship tenure his leadership qualities, matched with his knowledge on party issues got him elected has the Chairman of the Governors Forum. His understanding of the legislative and executive arms of government is profound.

However, with the current agitation of a presidential ticket moving to the South, Bashir said the party would needs someone like Yari to come to play the card well for every zone, section, and state to feel comfortable as they will be carried along.

He implores every genuine APC member to support Yari, voting him in as the new national chairman of the ruling party.
