APC urges cabinet to be ruling example and emulate selfless leadership.
The All Progressives Congress in Osun state has urged members of the new cabinet taking the oath of office today to ignore the urge for personal gains , saying that their intentions in government should be that of service.
The party also urged them to work in team in order to move the state forward.
This was contained in a statement from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy, signed by its Director, Kunle Oyatomi.
The APC also urged the members of the cabinet to be resolute as the task would be herculean.
The statement read in part: ”As you take the oath to serve the people of Osun, recognise that whatever success you make of this ‘consolidation exercise’ will determine the shape and content of what development will look like, going forward.
‘You have been carefully selected to shoulder this epic responsibility of consolidating the unprecedented progress made in Osun over the last nine years.
‘But you must always remember that there are worshipers of the Moloch who will sacrifice anyone and anything to ensure that every development brought to Osun by the APC is destroyed.
“Your greatest insulation against these vicious adversaries is your integrity as loyal party men and women whose intention in government is service, not personal gains.
‘We therefore urge all of you to be excellent team players, focused on the goals of government to make Osun one of the most progressive states in Nigeria.
‘Be assured of the total support of our great party in the discharge of your duties. Our chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun is at your service 24/7. All party men and supporters look up to you to help Gov. Gboyega Oyetola succeed.”
Kudos to APC in Osun for realising and passing this information to their cabinet
