BILLION NAIRA CCTV INSTALLATION SCAM IN ANAMBRA SCHOOLS: ACCORD PARTY DEPUTY GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE RAISES ALARM
…Reveals the location of the Moribund CCTV Security Camera purchased for security agencies.
Sir Kenneth Ifeatu Obi, the Anambra State Accord Party Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate and the running mate to Dr. Godwin Maduka has raised alarm over the secretly ongoing plan by the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) to further fleece each Secondary school in Anambra the sum of #250,000.00 through its scam policy of installation of CCTV cameras in Senior Secondary schools for WAEC Examination.
In his words, “The Moribund CCTV camera purchased with an undisclosed amount running into billions of Naira for Smart City Security is lying waste at the premises of Anambra State Emergency Management Office and now the Apga led Government has come up with another scam to fleence Secondary schools of their hard earned money instead of supporting the schools.”
Sir Kenneth Ifeatu Obi raise this alarm in reaction to a report and concerned raised by school proprietors where “Anambra State commissioner for Education, Prof Kate Omenugha during preparation for this year Senior Secondary School Certificate examination, ordered all the secondary Schools in Anambra State to install CCTV camera as a pre-qualification for writing this year examination in a bid to checkmate examination malpractice.
“Some schools went ahead and bought this at the open market and took it to the commissioner for certification, she vehemently rejected it and insisted that all schools must get theirs through the ministry of education.
“After parting with a whopping two hundred and thirty thousand naira, the schools are yet to see anything that look like CCTV talk more of instillation.”
In his words, Sir Kenneth Ifeatu Obi fumed that “This is the end of the road for Apga Government, The sins of Apga led Government will not go unpunished in the Forthcoming November Election”.
“APGA-led Government has continued to rape Ndi Anambra with reckless abandon, the same APGA Government looted Anambra State Treasury with a now moribund CCTV camera for security of Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi.”
Sir Kenneth Ifeatu Obi therefore calls on Ndi Anambra to vote in the Accord Party, the number one party on the ballot box, because Dr. Godwin Maduka is poised to restore the battered image of Anambra State which the APGA-led Government has destroyed through its various scandalous policies of scam.
Sir Kenneth Ifeatu Obi revealed that the Candidate of the Accord Party has been investing in the Educational sector for over twenty years having built a school which he handed over to the church in his hometown umuchukwu unlike the present governor and Apga Candidate who have not laid the Foundation block of any school as private individuals who have not hold any political Position.
