Ashley Graham: I’m not going to apologize for feeding my child in Public

Ashley Graham is establishing her right to breastfeed her children wherever she wants.

The 34-year-old model took to TikTok on Tuesday to post a video about breastfeeding in public. In it, she unlatched her nursing top as if she were about to feed her babies, and lip synced to a trending sound.

“I’m not going to apologize for feeding my child,” Graham captioned the post. “Also, my boobs hurt if I don’t.”

Although the video didn’t show Graham actually breastfeeding, people appreciated the statement and praised the mom of three in her comment section.

“There is nothing more beautiful than a mother and her nursing baby. Anyone who thinks otherwise can go to hell,” one person wrote. “You are a fantastic mama!!!”

Another commented, “If everyone else can eat in public, the babies can too.”

Graham has practiced what she’s preaching many times before, sharing a photo of her breastfeeding her first child Isaac at a restaurant back in Feb. 2020, weeks after he was born. She’s since tried to normalize breastfeeding and pumping by posting other images and videos sharing how she does so both at home and on the go.

Even after giving birth to her twin baby boys, Malachi and Roman, in January of this year, Graham hasn’t shied away from sharing the reality of breastfeeding with her social media audience.

Graham has also been authentic when it comes to other parts of motherhood and pregnancy, as she shares unfiltered photos of her body and encourages women to embrace their stretch marks.

“Changing the model game,” a TikTok commenter wrote, “now changing up the postpartum momma time and labor game!!!”
