ASUP Suspends Strike as Federal Government declares December 1st Public Holiday (Yabatech)

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), have resumed activities after embarking on at 2-weeks strike.
This was effective on Wednesday, 28th November after an agreement was signed and a Memorandum of Settlement and Action(MoS) was reached with the Federal Government to resolve the issue. 
This was confirmed by the Chairman of the union, Comrade Usman Duste to newsmen on Wednesday, 29th November.

For progress the management of Yabatech will resume its academic activities on Monday, 4th December.
Meanwhile, the Federal government has declared Friday, 1st of December as public holiday in respect of the Eid el Maulud. 

The Rector, Dr. Margaret Kudirat Ladipo have taken turn to send her greetings to all Muslims.
