The Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has broken a breaks 44 years record, as he resumes office at the State Secretariat Complex Maiduguri.

Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum is the first governor to resume in the Maiduguri State Secretariat since Late Brigadier Musa Usman, left in 1975.

After Brig. Musa Usman of 1975, all Borno Governors operate in their office at Government House.

Babagana Umara Zulum will be sharing this special space with over 8000 civil servants.

The aim is to directly supervise them, understand how things are being run better and create a healthy communication relationship with the civil servant.

He said being in the midst of the thousands of civil servants would enable him to know those coming to work.
