Beyonce went from one incredible dress to another for the evening of the 94th Academy Awards event. The star may have missed out on the Best Original Song award at the Oscars for her song ‘Be Alive’ from King Richard, but her not one, but three looks for the evening certainly won in the style stakes.
Beyonce, 40, looked resplendent in a sunshine yellow Valentino haute couture gown which featured a dramatic floor-length cape that she coordinated with elbow-length opera gloves on the Oscars red carpet, and her performance outfit – a custom glittering feathered David Koma dress in lime green, teamed with a diamond-encrusted garter – was impeccable as always.
But it’s Bey’s after party look that has thrown fans into a frenzy.
Bey dropped photos of herself in the nude sheer dress she wore to her and Jay-Z’s after party. Her outfit of the day photos were captionless as usual. Beyoncé accessorized her high-leg slit dress with sunglasses, a silver necklace, and matching jeweled clutch. She wore her hair down in waves.
Beyoncé certainly looked every bit the A-List star that she is, as she was seen twirling in her sheer dress in the series of snaps, and fans clearly agree.
“Whoever dressed you needs a raise IMMEDIATELY!!!” one fan wrote under her Instagram post, whilst another declared: “It’s your WORLD and the rest of us just live in it.”
Beyoncé was nominated for her first Oscar this year, Best Original Song for “Be Alive.” Billie Eilish and Finneas ultimately won the award for their James Bond song, “No Time to Die.”
Beyoncé opened up to Harper’s Bazaar in September about her career goals now as she enters her 40s. “I’ve done so much in 40 years that I just want to enjoy my life,” she said. “It’s hard going against the grain, but being a small part of some of the overdue shifts happening in the world feels very rewarding. I want to continue to work to dismantle systemic imbalances. I want to continue to turn these industries upside down. I plan to create businesses outside of music.
