BEYOND DELEGATES: YOU ARE LIFE-SAVERS; A PASSIONATE APPEAL TO PDP DELEGATES

BEYOND DELEGATES: YOU ARE LIFE-SAVERS; A PASSIONATE APPEAL TO PDP DELEGATES

by Franklin Chinemelu

From my little experience about Anambra State politics, I can deduce without thinking twice that the fourth coming PDP primary election slated for June 26th 2021 will be the most competitive and the greatest event in the annals of Anambra State chapter of our great party, (PDP).

Most of the aspirants under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party PDP are men and women of valour who have proven themselves beyond every possible doubt in different areas of human endeavour. Apparently, most of them seem to have what it takes to be the next Governor of Anambra State.

BEYOND DELEGATES: A PASSIONATE APPEAL TO PDP DELEGATES

However, because of the critical nature of things at present, we have to think outside the box so as to avert seemingly looming danger. Our dear State is threatened by hunger, insecurity, unemployment, health challenges, etc. Armed robbers have taken over the streets of Anambra State, and our people are left with no better option so they resorted to jungle justice. Businesses are winding down gradually and their is no plan by the government to help SMEs in our State. Many die daily because our hospitals are not fully equipped, most of the drugs we take are substandard.

I therefore appeal to all the delegates of our great party to have it in mind that the fourth coming primary election is an opportunity given to them by God to save lives, it’s beyond just an election. Look around you, quietly count how many of your friends, family members and associates that died just within the last two months the number you get will shock you. All I’m trying to say is that it’s no longer business as usual, this time around let us elect someone that has the capacity and honest intention of changing this ugly narratives.

Looking at the antecedents of Dr. Godwin Maduka the CEO of Las Vegas Pain Institute the biggest pain hospital in the world, you can agree with me that he has all it takes including resources and expertise to transform Anambra State. We need our health sector to be functional again, we need classified medical equipments with which to treat complicated cases.

Dr. Godwin Maduka once said “Fifty percent of the resources with which to develop Anambra State will come from the diaspora if given the opportunity to serve”. We need foreign investment and assistance to boost our economy. Dr. Godwin Maduka is the only aspirant that has it all, let us not make mistake this time around we need Dr. Godwin Maduka NOW!

Like Archimedes once said ” Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world”. Dear delegates, kindly vote for Dr. Godwin Maduka on the 26th of this month, give him the party flag and he will surely win the main election by the grace of God and transform Anambra State.
