Biafra: Why Ojukwu Failed – Uchechi Kanu

Uchechi Kanu, wife of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu ‎has given insight into why the late warlord, Odumegu Ojukwu failed to rule Nigeria.

She said Ojukwu failed because Nigerians never wanted an Igbo person to rule the country.

Ojukwu led the Biafran army that failed in their attempt to secede the South East from Nigeria in 1967.

Despite his failed attempt at seceding from the country, Ojukwu later contested for presidency but failed.

In an interview with BBC Igbo, Uchechi said the people of the South East deserved more from the country, which is very wrong in my own opinion because you can’t just sit around causing violence, killing people all over the country, and disorganizing the country’s economy with a dead agitation so call BIAFRA and expect people to vote for your candidate and that’s why they always fail in everything they do, honestly I must say Igbos don’t understand Nigeria Politics in General.
