In Nigeria, nay Africa, there is only one Asiwaju of Lagos and Jagaban of Africa. He is no other person than BOLA AHMED TINUBU.

In Agege, nay Lagos State, there is only one Asiwaju of Agege/Orile Agege/Ogba Kingdoms. He is no other person than MUDASHIRU AJAYI OBASA.

They are the Asiwajus of their people. Like the Bashoruns and Are-Ona-Kakanfos of yore days, they have fought and won many battles for their people; sacrificing their time and energies to nurture, mentor and position others to realize and maximize their God given potentials.

They are leaders of their people. They are therefore Asiwajus in every sense of the word; for they stand for their people, talk for their people and are driven by no other passion than the passion to continually serve their people. In return, they enjoy the fierce loyalty and adoration of their people.

As former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu served the State and its people with exceptional dedication and efficiency that the fortunes of the State soared to unprecedented heights and had remained so ever since.

As Speaker of the 8th and 9th Assembly, Asiwaju Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa pioneered the passage of so many innovative and impactful bills that further accentuated the long standing reputation of Lagos State House of Assembly as a pace setting legislative house whose performance is clearly above the common standards of excellence.

Both leaders have thus proven their administrative and leadership mettles. They have shown a passionate interest in the development of humanity and the empowerment of the disadvantaged.

They, more than anybody else in our party – having been tested and found wholly competent – deserve to be given the electoral tickets to advance to the next level of public servitude.

The first (Asiwaju Bola AhmedTinubu) will use his rich administrative experience as a former Governor of our dear State to direct the affairs of this country as President, Federal Republic of Nigeria. The second (Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa) will use his wealth of legislative experience as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly as Member of Senate representing Lagos West Senatorial district.

This will be the sensible and natural thing to do. This follows the natural law of progression and thus requires no further discourse.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains our best and most qualified candidate for the Presidency from the South West while Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa is our best and most qualified candidate for the Senate from Lagos West Senatorial District.

They are our best brains and our best minds. They are, on top of it all, about the most experienced and most political savvy persons we have in the APC at the moment.

Our job of selecting who should carry the banners of our Party for these lofty and strategic positions have thus been cut out for us. It has been made quite simple by the very undeniable and impressive track records of these political titans of our time.

We should keep it as simple as that.
