Member representing Obokun Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke has called on Muslim faithful and other Nigerians to reflect on the virtues of love, forgiveness, piety, patriotism and steadfastness as exemplified by the life and time of Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
Hon. Busayo Oke made this known in a statement released by his Media team on Monday, 11th November at Ijebu jesa to commemorate the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
Hon. Oke said that the only way government could impact the livelihood and well-being of her citizenry was through formulation and implementation of people friendly policies.
While calling on the executive arm of government to tone down on harsh policies capable of causing further impoverishment of the masses, he pleaded with his constituents and other Nigerians not to be dismayed by the present economic situation in the country but instead, strive to be better citizens and be above board in all their dealings.
Oke further called on all Muslim faithful and people of other faith to imbibe the spirit of togetherness and be their brothers’ keeper at all times.
While wishing all his constituents happy celebration, he restated his commitment to pursuing and ensuring a legislative agenda that would put Ijesa North Federal Constituency on the front burner and also engender the positive social and economic well-being of all constituents.
