Campus Journalist called for interrogation over publication

The State Security Service also known as the DSS has invited a campus Journalist and Editor Ayoola Babalola for interrogation on the matters that surfaced upon the publication of a campus newspaper at the Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade in Ogun state.


Ayoola Babalola who served as the Editor-In-Chief of the paper is a member of Amnesty International and the immediate past coordinator for the Take-it-Back movement in the Saapade axis of Ogun State. He notified the public of his invitation to the SSS office through a Facebook post he made on his timeline this evening but made no comments as to whether he would be honoring the invitation.

The Campus Journalist and activist made series of posts on his facebook page earlier this evening on the matters arising as regards the newspaper and his invitation to the Local government office of the SSS on Monday 30th December 2019.

Efforts have been made to reach Babalola for further information about the case to no avail.
