Cardi B Beauty line – – Cardi B may be known for her outspoken personality and hourglass curves, but she’s also renowned for her out-of-this-world beauty looks, including her long, bright wigs and her famous black cat eye. While we don’t have her personal hairstylists and makeup artists to doll us up every day (sigh), we will soon have access to the products she uses on the daily via her upcoming beauty line.
According to a recent article from TMZ, the 28-year-old rapper recently filed legal documents to obtain the rights to “Bardi Beauty,” a name that, per the trademark, she was originally looking to paste onto products under the umbrella of hair care, skin care, fragrance, and cosmetics.
In an Instagram post from March, however, the star gave us a bit more context, writing that she will be coming out with a hair-care line later this year.
“She also stated in her words that being Latina/Hispanic is not what makes your hair long, don’t make tour skin light or don’t make your face features slim especially Latin countries from the Carribbean Islands.
DNA have something to do with your hair not your nationality but guess what you can always maintain your hair … And one more thing not everyone speaks Spanish in Mexican”.
“This year I will be coming out with a hair line that I been working on at home for my hair and my daughters hair,” she writes. “However, I think it’s time for people to educate themselves on nationality, race, and ethnicity. Being Hispanic or Latina don’t make your hair long, don’t make your skin light or don’t make your face features slim, especially Latin countries from the Caribbean islands.
According to New Beauty, if we had to take a guess, we’re thinking her line will feature a slew of products that work for any hair type, from short curls to long, thick hair. Whatever it is, we can’t wait to try it out for ourselves.
