As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKDC), in conjuncion with SLOT, organised a 3months Skills Acquisition program for about 40 youths in Lagos.
The training under the IKDC Youth Empowerment Initiative focused on building technology ideas for youths, repairing mobile phones and laptops, customer relations and how to attain customer relationships in Nigeria.
Speaking with journalists, the CEO of Ikeja Electric Anthony Youdeowei said technology is important because this is the day we live in.
“In Ikeja Electric World we introduce technology into the way we do things, not to get rid of human beings but improve proficiency,” he said.
