Dear Nigerians, these should by the main Criteria for choosing your President come 2023. The 2023 Nigerian general election will be held on 25 February and 11 March 2023. The President and Vice President will be elected on 25 February
The President of Nigeria is elected using a modified two-round system. To be elected in the first round, a candidate must receive a majority of the vote and over 25% of the vote in at least 24 of the 36 states. If no candidate passes this threshold, a second round will be held.
All the political parties in Nigeria have conducted their presidential primary elections.
June 9, 2022, was the deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for completion of primaries and submission of presidential candidates.
