Peckham music king, Damibliz was recently awarded at the 2018 edition of Diamond Special Recognition Awards Worldwide with UK Entertainment Scene Discovery Award.
The award event which was held at Lordswood Leisure Centre, Chatham, Kent, United Kingdom, was organized by Yetunde Oduwole of Bustline.

Damibliz is a talented UK Based Nigerian singer and songwriter, who is now a force to be reckoned with following his hard-work and monster-hit single, Jowa Bayi which features Mystro, Naira Marley and CDQ.
The street pop anthem has made waves across the UK, Nigeria, Ghana and some other entertainment-active African countries. While it also gained superstars endorsements.
Meanwhile, special recognition went to British-Nigerian singer, actress and artist, Patricia Ngozi Komlosy nee Ebigwei, popularly known as Patti Boulaye.
Patti Boulaye was among the leading black British entertainers in the 1970s and the 1980s. She is best remembered for starring in Lux soap commercials. She was the face of Lux Beauty Soap for 29 years. She is also remembered for the movie, Bisi, Daughter of the River, which ran in cinemas in Nigeria for three years and was believed to be the highest grossing African movie at the time; and also for her series, The Patti Boulaye Show.
At the age of 16, she relocated to the United Kingdom from Nigeria with the hope of becoming a Nun but fate led her to the venue of an audition while sightseeing. She won a part and that launched her career in musicals and ultimately, show business. She has done many charity works across the world. She built 5 hospitals in rural Africa and a school, which she jointly built with HRH Prince Harry.

Also awarded amongst many other important persons was Akin Alabi of Nairabet who was amply represented by Twitter influencer, JJ Omojuwa.

THE DIAMOND SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARDS is a BUSTLINE MEDIA UK initiative, which YETUNDE ODUWOLE is the C.E.O. It is an awards ceremony for both the celebrated and the never been celebrated, a night of pomp and glamour with loads of attractions and entertainment
