Award-winning music star Davido has revealed some of his goals for 2022.
The music star made some of his set goals known during a recent workout video shared on his insta story on Wednesday.
The father of three noted that he intends to release his third album, buy three new houses, five more cars and a brand new private jet.
“We go flog them this year. Album, three new houses, five more cars and another jet.”
On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, the BET award winner spoke on his plans to import his Lamoghini Aventador valued at N275m.
It is expected that this is part of the intended five new cars as the vehicle was purchased in 2021.
In December 2021, Davido declared a total earning of $22.3 million via his Instagram stories.
Aside from making history by amassing a total of over N200 million in donation ahead of his 29th birthday, he added N50 million and commissioned the funds for distribution to orphanages across Nigeria.
Meanwhile, one of his signee, Idowest, keeps breaking grounds whilst holding on to the hood he made it from.
In 2021, Idowu Adekunle better known by the stage name, Idowest, introduced an EP series titled the ‘Mafia Culture’; it did so well that he had to step it up with Mafia Culture, Vol 2 in March, 2021.
The project, a 10-tracker features DMW boss, Davido, and DMW artiste Mayorkun, as well as Alubarika crooner, Patoranking, Zlatan, Bella Shmurda, MohBad, Q2, Abram Soul, and C BLVCK, among others.
The self-proclaimed ‘King of Shaku Shaku’ described the project as a significant part of his music career. He also appreciated those who contributed to making the project a reality.
“Making this project meant a lot to me and I put my heart out on this one! Big shout to my team and every single person that worked on this project with me. Big ups to every one of you! Y’all go run this one up. Link in my bio,” he wrote on Twitter.
Idowest was signed into Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2018 and has since etched his name on the hearts of many music lovers. He was a former member of the M.A.F.I.A gang, which members include C Black and Abram Soul and they released singles like Panda (Cover) and Umbele.
From getting attention with his single Eko alongside former HKN member Danagog to his groundbreaking single, Omo Shepeteri, which featured Dammy Krane and Slimcase, he has grown his art steadily over the past couple of years.
