Day9: Knowledge Is Power – a big lie! #PsychologistOfChange

The Few Who Do

One of the worst half-truths of all time is ‘knowledge is power. It has made people believe that by knowing what to do, they automatically become qualified to do it.

Another one taken out of its context is “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” Surprisingly, the truth only continues to haunt us.

You may wonder why in a world where over two hundred thousand books are published annually ‘knowledge is still not power’ because if it were, the situation wouldn’t be as bad as it is.

The truth is if having access to information is enough, then everyone would be where they want to since ‘knowledge is power.’ But that is not enough as we see it today. In fact, many of us are over qualified for that thing we want to do but most times we fail to do something about it.
If you want success then go for it. Don’t expect success to fall on you. Just knowing what to do is not enough, you have to do what you know too. Determine today not to be among the ‘many who know’ but strive to be among the ‘few who do.’

Many successful people didn’t start with all the knowledge you have, they just started anyway because the desire to be successful was more than their fear of failing.

Maybe you’ve started on that mountain for too long, it’s time to start ACTING what you KNOW in order to go forward.
