Damibliz is a talented UK Based Nigerian singer and songwriter, has won the DBE Awards 2018 for Best New Discovery Male of the year.
The artiste who is now a force to be reckoned with for his hard-work and monster-hit single Jowa Bayi which features Mystro, Naira Marley and CDQ, a street pop anthem which is still making waves across the UK, Nigeria, Ghana and some other entertainment-active African countries while also gaining superstars endorsements.

The second edition of D-Blaze Entertainment Music Awards 2018 (DBE MA) was held in London over the weekend that saw the handing out of honours to 33 artists who have excelled in the UK diaspora community.
The event which took place at the Old Stratford Town hall in east London, saw a variety of entertainers honoured with plaques in recognition of their services to the industry.
Among those who attended the event were dignitaries like the former mayor of Brixton Ademola Aminu and the chairman of the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK), Dr Boma Douglas and the chairman of the NDDIS, Chief Bimbo Afolayan, who both handed out awards to the recipients.
Speaking on the event, DBE Music Awards founder Prince Tade Olusile, said: “We have a thriving and vibrant entertainment industry among the UK diaspora community and we decided to launch this initiative to recognise and celebrate them. Looking at the caliber of those who were honoured, we hope that this will also serve as an inspiration to young up and coming artists.”

In a night that featured entertainment, music and an array of African cuisine, there were live performance from Deoba Authentic, Vera, Teekay Sax, Abiola Lewu, Ras King Bobo1, Shegah, Damibliz and Kenny Keyz.
Other community leaders who were also on hand to present awards included Tv presenter Otunba Olabode Osenie, Otunba David Idiabana, Mayor Ademola Aminu, Larry Ekundayo and Ben Gray.
According to Prince Olusile, now that the second event has held successfully again, DBE Music Awards should become an annual feature in the diaspora social calendar.
