EVERY ASPIRANT WANTS TO BE ELECTED AS GOVERNOR, BUT DR MADUKA HAS BEEN DELIVERING SERVICES WITHOUT AN ELECTIVE POSITION.

The sweetness of the pudding they say is in the eating, like wise the essence of democracy is assessed by the provision of dividends. Anambra State seems to be approaching the twilight of her existence as a state, but truth is there’s no smoke without fire; that is why we have Dr Godwin Maduka (Okosisi Orumba) who left his comfort zone to help us change the narrative.

In civilized climes where Dr Maduka studied with scholarship and made it to the pick of his career, the electorates usually raise funds to support their choice candidates while here in Nigeria, the candidate is either very rich or he’s capable of securing a sponsor(s) that could bankroll political campaigns as well as election expenses.

Ordinarily, a personality like Dr Maduka shouldn’t have a rival in the race to government house Awka considering his level of education, liveliness, wealth, humility, as well as experience in human capital investments and infrastructural development. For Okosisi Orumba, the only thing that is required to turn Anambra State around is the people’s mandate and maximum support.

His 10 point agenda is second to none, given that he has been doing similar things in the past indicating that continuity is always guaranteed with him at the mantle of leadership. Obviously he can’t possibly transfer the 6 world-class hospitals he built in USA to Anambra, but he can transfer knowledge and replicate just about anything he has done thereof and even at his hometown Umuchukwu in other Anambra communities.

I will not hesitate to inform the delegates of our great party PDP to consider his achievements and contributions to society as what he will bring to the table if elected. Others could be good as well but seeing is believing in almost every task you undertake. There is a great difference between the man who built houses for people already and the one who claims to have building capacity without a building plan.

To this end, I strongly believe that the party delegates and Anambra electorate would cast their votes for the person that has shown them so much love in terms of human resources development and high impact societal interventions. He is no other than Dr Godwin Maduka, The Lion of Africa.
