Distress call on Anambra state Government to Save Lives

DISTRESS CALL ON ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT TO SAVE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE

The good people of Anambra State demand the immediate attention of Anambra State APGA Government on one of the three (3) collapsing flyovers along Enugu/Onitsha expressway.

The Aloma flyover which was this morning found to be caving in seriously poses as a dangerous threat to the road users and may collapse at any moment.

We call on Governor Willie Obiano led Government to either follow the advise from GSM Chris Ngige and demolish/evacuate the death traps or engage a better construction company to do solid amendments on the falling flyovers.

The lives of the good people of Anambra State should not be subjected to such dangerous poorly constructed flyovers that does not even serve their purposes.

The flyovers rather than ease traffic lock on the expressway are the major cause of steady traffic lock.

We await the quick response of the State Government to the road obstructions that threatens the lives of our people.

@ Concerned Citizens

PS: The Aloma Flyover is one of the fly over bridges flaged-off by the Willie Obiano led administration in July 2014.

The projects were awarded at the cost of 5billion naira with a completion period of one year to be constructed at Amawbia Junction, Kwata Junction and Aroma Junction.

All the projects flagged off were, according to the Governor, part of his resolve to transform Awka, as well as establish a new face of a functional government in Anambra State.
