DJ Khaled was reportedly furious when he found out that his new album “Father Of Asahd” would only debut at #2 on the Billboards, with IGOR by Tyler, The Creator, taking the #1 spot, selling over 170k units on first week.
According to reports, DjKhaled rushed into his record label offices and “threw a temper tantrum” when he learned that his album would only land at #2 with 131,717 units first week sales.
Sources at his Record label office we’re quoted saying –
“He was furious. There was some nasty stuff said. Publicly, he’s all about ‘positivity,’ but there is a mean side to him that people don’t see… He overhyped the record and blew it up as his biggest album ever.”
Another source said, “Khaled was upset that his label wasn’t fighting for him and fighting for those numbers to count, which could have propelled him to #1. They don’t get it.”
