Dr. J.B.O Adewumi was on Monday, 25th May, confirmed as the new Chancellor for Kwara State University (KAWSU).
His appointment was approved by the Kawra state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and announced through his Special Assistant New Media, Fafoluyi Olayinka.
Dr. J.B.O Adewumi ‘s appointment is for a single term of five years.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the appointment of the renowned educationist Dr. J.B.O Adewumi as the Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete.
The appointment is for five (5) years, single term and takes immediate effect.
The renowned educationist and philanthropist is also the Asiwaju of Oko Irese Land in Kwara State.
In celebration, the Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education and founder of Making a Difference (MAD), Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu believes its a great development, adding that the Governor have created what she calls a “fair distribution.”
