Dr. Seyi Adigun congratulates Prof. Wale Suleiman as he bags international Award for leadership and service in healthcare.
Dr Adigun applauds the Zenith Global Healthcare, an international healthcare leadership group for bestowing it’s prestigious award on Prof. Wale Suleiman.
The Special Adviser to the Kwara State Government on Health Matters was on June 20, 2020 given the award for his numerous and uninterrupted contributions to medical scholarship, healthcare manpower/capacity development and health system strengthening in Nigeria and around the world.
Attended by several key healthcare industry players and other awardees, the award evening via the Zenith Global Health webinar was a big opportunity for sharing ideas and future prospects for healthcare development in Africa.
Healthcare management consultant and Director of Lazforte, Dr. Seyi Adigun, expressed delight at the award conferred on Prof. Wale Suleiman.
In his remarks, he said it was a great honour having Prof. Suleiman on ground in Kwara to serve the State of his birth.
“I congratulate Prof. Wale Suleiman for the well deserved conferment of this health leadership Award. This is a clear signal that his service to his people is being acknowledged. He should therefore prepare to continue in this track.”
Dr. Seyi Adigun commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the unprecedented commitment of the Kwara State Government to healthcare development. He said by bringing in high calibre professionals like Prof. Suleiman and others to oversee Kwara’s Healthcare system, the Governor has shown that is vision to transform the sector is top priority.
Speaking earlier before the event, Dr. Ajose Semiu, an orthopaedic surgeon based in Lagos described Prof. Wale Suleiman as an eminent, accomplished neurosurgeon and a worthy recipient of the recognition Award.
He expressed happiness that Prof. Suleiman has remained consistent in his service to the people of Nigeria in general and Kwara State in particular.
