The Doyen of Highlife music in Nigeria, Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya OON, is dead.
Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya ( OON), died on Wednesday, 12th February, after a brief illness.
Dr. Olaiya died around 12pm at LUTH.
Dr. Victor Olaiya was a Legend of Highlife music and one of the last man standing when it comes to originality.
His death was confirmed by Bimbo Esho, Managing Director of Evergreen Music Company Ltd, which he owned.

Dr Victor Abimbola Olaiya clocked 89 years of age on December 31st, 2019.
