About Dre’s Music Life:
Dre drew his music inspiration from listening to different types of genre while growing up. He finds solace in every music that is appealing to the ear. Which in turn helps him to be creative and innovative in his music sojourn.
Dre started his music career at a very teen age. He took music as nothing serious, he saw music for himself, at that stage not as a profession. While he was still young, he’s had lots of models in the music industry, in and outside Nigeria. Notable among them were Wande coal, Tupac Shakur, Ace hood, Burna Boy, Olamide, Wizkid, Davido, Tory Lanez and a host of others. Listening to those musicians made him fall in love with the music profession.
Immediately he left secondary school, he started to take music seriously and would start writing his own lyrics and come up with punchlines. From there he sees music as one of the ways to his success.
Over the years, Dre has released a whole lot of singles that are well received by music critics and commentators. Sun mo mi, No cap, Grime and Stop Killing Us were his first singles in the music world. He recently dropped an ever circulated track with the title “Balu” which went popular across airwaves in Nigeria. The most recent of his single is ‘Who Be This Guy (W.B.T.G)‘ which is currently racking impressive numbers.
Dre focuses his music on different areas of life which include love, activism, real-life story, street update and motivation.
